In the musical, Kangin plays the role of Lee Shin, the Crown Prince. Musical Goong is based on the popular 2006 drama and Korean comic series by Park So Hee.

The new run of Goong Musical will begin on Sept 1 at the U-Port Hall in Tokyo and will run until Sept 13, 2012.
